A space that’s entirely yours.

Individual therapy at Past Forward Therapy is a place to slow down, get curious, and start to understand the patterns that have been running your life in the background.

I work with adults whose inner struggles might not be obvious from the outside—but feel very present in their bodies, their relationships, and their sense of self. Whether you’re coming to therapy for the first time or returning with clearer goals, our work will center your experience, your values, and your capacity for growth.

MY APPROACH

My work is relational, attachment-focused, and emotionally attuned. I believe most of our present-day struggles make sense when we understand where they came from—our histories, our relationships, our nervous systems.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • How past experiences still shape your emotions and reactions today

  • The coping strategies you developed to survive and whether they still serve you

  • Feelings and parts of yourself that have been hard to access or express

  • New ways of relating to yourself with more compassion and less judgment

I work collaboratively with my clients. I often say in consultations that if you’re looking for a traditional, poker-faced therapist to nod along and ask you, “So, how does that make you feel?” over and over again...then we may not be a fit! I get in there, I ask lots of questions, and facilitate meaningful (sometimes difficult!) conversations.

I believe that it’s an honor to be in the room together, and that this work is ours to approach together. I’m right there with you on this journey of yours. I bring a trauma-informed, queer-affirming, and culturally responsive lens to every session.
